Make Disciples
We are disciples making disciples. One of the last things Jesus told His disciples to do was “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.” Matthew 28:19-20a (NLT) We grow together as we grow to be more like Christ.
Build Community
The Church is the community of all true believers. We are strategic, intentional, and devoted to living life with each other. “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another…” Hebrews 10: 24,25 (NLT) We prioritize discussing the word of God and applying it to our daily lives. We prioritize eating meals together and investing in one another’s lives. “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to prayer. Acts 2:42 (NLT)
Join Jesus on Mission
Jesus “came to seek and to save those who are lost” Luke 19:10 (NLT) and we will join Jesus in His mission. We will engage our communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by investing in the lives of our family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. We will show radical compassion and generosity through servanthood and sacrifice for others.We will be like Jesus and compassionately serve a world that is broken and has lost its way. We are committed to becoming more like Jesus and doing the things Jesus did.
Our beliefs
Micro Church
…The most simple expression of a church. We meet in a home, we eat together, we learn how to know God and follow the ways of Jesus, and we support each other. Each micro church has its own pastor and meets in its own location. We are all a part of one network, but each micro church is its own expression. We come together periodically for Update-Celebrate, which is a large gathering of all micro churches in one place to report on what God is doing in each location and celebrate together. Of course, there is food involved in all meetings!
Our Mission
Local community outreach with the objective of salvation that leads to discipleship and a transformed life in Jesus is the ultimate goal. Discipleship is strategic and intentional sharing of life based on the power of the word of God.
Our Vision
We will expect God to call disciples from our micro churches to become Missional Pioneers – that is an evangelistic entrepreneurial calling into surrounding communities to find the unsaved and the dispersed church. We will develop, invest in, and support these Pioneers to go where the Holy Spirit is moving to start new micro churches.
